Padma Padam brings you a collection of beautiful, unique and creative jewellery, pieces with meaningful symbolism, yet still appealing to changing fashions and lifestyles. Sourced from many parts of the world, handmade by artisans, using exotic designs of Gold, Silver, Crystals and Gemstones. Padma Padam has created an eclectic collection, for all tastes, simply to celebrate and beautify you.

Padma Padam began in 2016, and is the creation of Sylvie Anand. Throughout worldwide travels, over the years, she began sourcing and collecting original unusual jewellery, and so the journey began. Inspiration came from many places, and peoples, but especially India, that magical ancient land. 

Jewellery has been loved and cherished for thousands of years, the earliest jewellery was dated around 25,000 years ago. In early societies, jewellery was worn to protect against bad luck and illness, and worn for its magical properties. It was made into symbols, believed to bring fertility, wealth and love. Jewellery came to represent wealth and power, and to mean human connection and commitment. It has always been symbolic, and beautifying.  And so the fascination of adornment, and love of wearing precious metals, gold, silver, and gems has been an ancient and modern obsession, worldwide, throughout the ages, through countless trends and cultural fashions, people have coveted beautiful things.

One of our unique specialties at Padma Padam are the Spinning Rings, these are a best seller. We have a large collection, ever changing and growing. The Spinning Ring is known and recognised as calming, alleviating anxiety and stress, to turn and spin the rings. Also known as Worry Rings, or Meditation Rings, not only are they beautiful unusual rings, but they are therapeutic. 

Padma Padam has a regular shop outlet every Saturday at the Mangawhai Tavern Market, (inside the large marquee) Mangawhai, Northland, where you can visit and browse, physically try anything and everything to your hearts delight!
